Lower Maze Youth 2 v 4 Sunnyside

Lower Maze Youth under 15s lost 4-2 to Sunnyside at Ballymacoss last Saturday, despite being in control for long periods Lower Maze Youth failed to capitalize on there dominance. Lower Maze took the lead midway through the half with an Ashley Beck effort which the keeper failed to hold, Ethan Rathore, Ryan Milliken, Joel Richardson and Ashley Beck all had good chances to extend their lead failed to convert, Sunnyside struck back just before the half time whistle with a contentious goal.

 Lower Maze started the second half on top and put Sunnyside under severe pressure with Stuart Stevenson and Joel Richardson in particular tormenting the Lurgan side, and it wasn’t long before the local boys regained the lead with Ryan Milliken finding the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the box. Sunnyside fought back and caught Lower Maze on the break to net twice in quick succession and in the dying minutes a cross found the top corner of the net to leave the score 4-2 to Sunnyside.
